This project was inspired by the Wayback Machine, also known as an internet archive, a site that allows users to browse past, historical versions of millions of sites. A thought was formed as I was browsing the website: "what would the internet as we know of today become of within a few years?" That thought became the basis of the project: my interpretation of what the future of the web would become. The HTML pages you see in the project are ripped out from their respective companies' website, and edited to make the mock pages look seamless and believable while also pointing out the imaginary dystopian future.
